If you you don’t have any lunch plans tomorrow Thursday June 11th you should head on over to Children’s Wharf Park, located between Congress St & Seaport Blvd for Taste of the Fort Point Channel hosted by Friends Of Fort Point Channel.

Guests will be able to relax at picnic tables and listen to live music by Chris Philips while sampling a wide variety of cuisine offered by local restaurants and café’s on the Channel. The event is FREE and open to the public.

Puppy

The Dog Days of Summer

If you haven’t been yet, you need to get you and your pooch’s butts down to the Alibi Bar and Lounge Patio in Boston where they host The Dog Days of Summer.

Every month Guest Judges will be awarding one Dog the Puppy VIP Package. It includes: unlimited doggy beverages, biscuits, a fabulous gift bag, and priority puppy patio seating!

Local sponsors Dogwood Cottage and Four Preppy Paws  were there as well as tons of great owners and their dogs. This is a great idea and nice way to introduce  pet lovers in Boston.

Boston Population Expected To Rise 400k

The Boston Business Journal ran a story the other day on population projections for the nations top 250 metro areas. In it they say that Boston is expected to add 400,000 more residents by 2025.

Boston will have added roughly 400,000 residents in the 20-year span ended 2025, with a total population topping 4.84 million people. That should be good enough to rank the city as the country’s 12th-largest, based on bizjournals’ projections. As of 2005, Boston was ranked as the 10th largest city in the United States.
