Yesterday we got word that The Avenir Lofts are going to be the first  large-scale, professionally managed apartment community to offer smoke-free living in Boston.

I think this is a great bold move and really shows the forward thinking of the company. More and more people are embracing health and healthy lifestyles. It makes sense to offer options to these people in housing.

Now lets just hope they can get a great healthy restaurant or cafe in the retail portion of the building. My vote would be a cafe from Alissa Cohen of Grezzo fame. For a super healthy option that is in walking distance go check out a great raw restaurant Grezzo!
